AWIB network has grown strongly over the years, and today with more than 3 500 members, we are one of the biggest and well-known women’s professional networks in Finland. Last year, we decided to roll out our sleeves and dust off the AWIB brand inside and out. Our mission is to encourage women to grow to their full potential professionally and to create a culture in which women actively help each other to advance their careers.
We were lucky enough to cooperate with a talented designer to help us brighten the AWIB look and feel. Ida Timonen is the creative mastermind behind Ida Timonen Creative. She is a graphic designer, who designed AWIB’s new brand identity & visual materials.
I’m Ida, the founder, and creator of Ida Timonen Creative. I’m a graphic designer, a sworn aesthete, and an entrepreneur.
Tell something about Ida Timonen Creative
I have worked as a full-time designer for 4 years. I have a strong background in influencer marketing and have worked a lot with blogs and personal branding. I have also created a bunch of logos, visual identities, and illustrations. A few of my recent clients include Asennemedia, Nōs Creative, and Puskala Invest. I have also worked with Stockmann and Arabia.
How would you describe the brand?
We created a fresh, consistent, and professional but not too serious brand identity for AWIB. The result is a combination of muted colors, feminine illustrations, and wavy shapes.
The power lies in the details. What is your favorite brand element?
I love the customised hand-drawn illustrations. There was a lot of drawing work involved but the results are very nice. For example, the event types and icons represent AWIB well.
